Associate Dentist

About the role

Join a growing pediatric dental practice where personality, attitude, and patient experience matter. You'll have the opportunity to focus on clinical care, work within an established local dental organization, and grow with a new pediatric/ortho location. New pediatric specialists are welcome, and there is a genuine long-term partnership and ownership opportunity for the right fit. Compensation: 30% of adjusted production with a daily minimum guarantee of $1,000/day, stepping to 40% adjusted production once overhead threshold is covered.

Full-time is strongly preferred, with flexibility to consider as few as 3 days per week for the right candidate. The associate gets first option on incoming patients, while Dr. Hinckley supports more complex cases. CE support is provided, and there is a genuine pathway to partnership or ownership for the right long-term fit.

The office and team

Yellow Monkey Dental is a new pediatric/ortho practice backed by the team behind Kids Smiles, an established pediatric practice with approximately 20 years of local reputation. The culture is fun, energetic, and patient-focused. Providers are supported so they can focus primarily on clinical care, while patients and families are treated like guests.

The neighborhood

San Angelo offers a country feel with a mix of affluent and working-class communities. The practice draws patients from a wide surrounding area, and continued development and investment are expected to support the area's growth.

Case volume and procedure mix

Standard pediatric bread-and-butter dentistry. The associate gets first option on incoming patients, with support available for more complex cases, including older-child restorative/general work and ortho-adjacent surgical cases. Sedation and hospital cases are handled separately and are not required of the associate.
